I really have a problem with the sex-phobia that permeates some parts of the Heartstopper fandom

I get wanting romance stories that don't totally revolve around sex. and i get not wanting hyper-sexualized depictions of younger people. valid.

but total desexualization of a long-term romantic relationship between 2 queer men (who are very explicitly NOT asexual) is politically regressive. wanting sex to be absent from allosexual queerness is a morally conservative mentality that absolutely needs to be pushed back against.

sex is relevant to allosexual experiences of sexuality and sexual orientation. It HIGHLY relevant. I shouldn't have to explain or argue why it is relevant and important.

wanting allo-queerness to be completely devoid of sex is a VERY conservative desire. and sorry, it's not 'valid.'

For the absolute last time, there is a high chance Kira isn't coming back while the pack is alive. She and Scott obviously broke up because she wouldn't expect him to wait for centuries, because he can't. Scott is allowed to move on. Scott is allowed to have feelings for Malia, and he's allowed to be with Malia.
