i spontaneously combust every time an article i have to read refers to frankenstein as ‘doctor.’ bro he. he did not get his degree. when he’s shown leaving university, his professors are still referring to him as monsieur frankenstein. he is never, in the whole of the novel, referred to as ‘doctor’ one single time. how are literal academic articles still calling him ‘doctor.’
