I think one of my least favourite badbrain feelings is when you wake up looking at an entirely reasonable and manageable day if you can just sit down and get stuck in, and then for whatever reason your ability to focus and do things just will. Not. Kick. In.

So the to-do list gets less and less manageable as more and more time slips by, and you get more and more stressed which makes it harder and harder to concentrate which makes you even less able to do stuff which makes you more stressed and so ad infinitum
