Prefacing this with idc how expensive andor was or how many views it gets, but disney is clearly desperate to get people to watch. They're pushing all the episodes out in chunks (probably because of the "s1 is too slow" crowd) and the first episode is airing on tv right now. And I just!!!!! The acolyte was a "risk" too in diverting from the usual era and anything skywalker-related. Despite all the hate, it found its audience. It attracted new fans. It wasn't even as expensive to make!
