“It's really coming down out there.” Henry commented, as he closed Kal's doggy door, so the Bear couldn't go rooting in the mud puddles in the backyard as it rained heavily. “Guess, we're stuck inside today.”
“Yeah.” You agreed, coming into the kitchen, wrapped comfortably in Henry's blue knit, shawl collar jumper and a pair of fleece leggings. “Even with the heat on, it's cold in here.” You commented, standing beside him at the back sliding glass door and watched the rain with him.
Henry chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and hugged you into his warm side. “How about this? I'll make up the fireplace and brew some tea, while you grab one of our blankets and pick a movie for us to watch.”
“We'll have a rainy movie day.”
“I love the sound of that.” You smiled up at him, hugging your arms around his waist.
“Good.” Henry grinned, kissing you sweetly, before going into the living room and started building a fire in the fireplace.
You padded up stairs and grabbed the thick down comforter off your shared bed and took it down to the spacious couch. Henry got the fireplace roaring in a matter of minutes and was bumping around the kitchen as he made the tea.
“Whoa!” You gasped, coming into the kitchen to see if he needed any help, since you were the one that ordinarily made tea; Henry normally drank coffee.
“What?” He blinked at you, a milk container poised above your favorite teacup.
You moved closer to him and peeked into your cup, then sighed and clicked your tongue against the roof of your mouth, shaking your head. “You're British, how can you make this error?”
“What error?” He frowned at you. “And, what does being British have to do with it?”
“You're putting milk in the cup before the actual tea.”
“And?” He blinked at you, giving you his classic, confused Puppy face.
You reached up, cupping his face in your hands and brought his head down as you pushed up on your toes, kissing him tenderly on the forehead and patting his cheeks. “As a Brit, you should know how to make a cup of tea, Puppy.” You chuckled at him.
“Hot Water, followed by the tea bag, then the milk.”
“Does it matter?” He asked, his blue eyes sparkling at you with amusement.
“I am calling the Queen and having your British Card revoked, dear sir.” You told him, solemnly, a playful light in your own eyes.
“Well, I can't have that.” Henry chuckled back, straightening up and putting the milk back down, then grabbed the bubbling electric kettle.
You watched Henry fill your cups with the hot water, then add the bags, giving you a silly look with each step, before finally adding the milk. Laughing at him, you added a bit of honey to your cup and carefully took it into the living room, Henry on your heels.
“What are we watching, beautiful?” Henry asked, spreading the comforter over both of your laps as you cozied up on the couch.
“The Scent of a Woman.” You replied, picking up the remote and pressed play on the DVD.
“Ooo, a good one.” Henry cooed, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
You had gotten Henry to fall in love with the drama film back when you had first started dating, four years before.
“Oh, how rude of us to not ask the Bear to join.” He chuckled, as Kal jumped up on the couch beside you.
“Bear needs some rainy day love too.” You baby talked to the Akita, stroking the top of his head as he laid it in your lap.
Neither of you were quite sure how it happened, but you both ended up on top of the comforter, spread out on the floor near the fireplace, by the time your movie started rolling credits. But, the end of the movie was the last thing either of you cared about.
In the dying glow of gray light coming through the open windows and the dancing flames of the still roaring fire, Henry laid over you, kissing the supple skin of your breasts and neck. The radiating heat of the fire and your bodies had you both glittering with sweat, as you move together in a languid motion, slick bodies easily rocking together, as one. The sounds of your lovemaking mixed with the patter of heavy rain on the roof and the window panes, the whispering rush of wind, rattling the branches of the trees in the backyard, giving the world around you a serene and bubble-like feeling, as if it was only you and Henry in the world. Your combined releases came with a soft and out of breath sighing moan, leaving you both pleasantly warm and numb, lazy smiles washed over your faces as you laid in each others embrace.
You awoke some time later from your and Henry's comfortable cat nap with a honey-like moan leaving your slightly parted lips, hand flying into Henry's sweat damp curls, the fireplace was barely flickering now, but still throwing off toasty warmth. Henry licked teasingly at your folds, delicate and leisurely. You rocked against his mouth, toes curling as your thighs squeezed Henry's broad shoulders, melting into the sweat damp comforter beneath you.
“Henry.” You mewled as you came against his lips and tongue.
“So, beautiful.” He panted, lining kissing over the inside of your thigh.
“Best rainy day, ever.” You chuckled, as he kissed you soundly on the lips.
“I hope it rains even harder tomorrow.” Henry rasped, sucking and nibbling at your neck.
