I turned 66 on 6/6. Good thing I started out with a low forehead. Gravity is taking its toll.

Got my stitches out today. Had a couple of fatty tumors removed from the back of my leg. Not cancer. Glad they're gone.

So much has been going on in the world and in my own life that I (as are many) am quite overwhelmed. I sleep, watch YouTube videos on my tv, play a zombie apocalypse game on my iPad, go to doctor's appointments and try to get outside with Henry most days. I occasionally make the 90 minute drive to have lunch with my 90 year old dad, or to take him to his own doctor visits. Sometimes I take pictures but I don't edit them, I don't even really look at them again after I take them. I am reminded though, every day, that I used to take photos and I used to enjoy editing them.

I posted this when my tumblr was brand new -- I don't think anyone saw it. That's a shame because this is a lovely song, very Beatle tinged. Darin was a frequent guest when I used to book music every morning on the radio show. He has a twin, Trish, who is also a musician. If you were a fan of The Leftovers (god, I loved that show), Trish appeared in one of the final episodes; she was a singer in that crazy hotel.

I think I will wander downtown at dusk this week. The weather should be clear and the decorations up. My energy is improving, I think. I'm interested to see what my wbc count is on my next checkup, end of this month. 🤞🏻
