rewatched "Double Black" recently and now I can't stop thinking how much Dazai and Chuuya obviously care about each other. Of course, they banter and insult each other, but they are so comfortable together, you never feel like there's any real intention to hurt, it's just this playful back and forth. They have this intimate understanding of one another ("this angelic behaviour doesn't suit you one bit") and work so well together. These two just click and honestly?? I live for these interactions
