My god, you tube threw up this video about a guy talking about something like “sincerity in movies”. And how he watched LOTR and kept waiting for the joke. The ENTIRE trilogy. And it didn’t come, and he came to the realization that all the movies he watches are too obsessed with breaking the fourth wall and cracking jokes

And it was just bizarre to see a so-called movie critique JUST realize this issue (….and also there have been plenty of sincere movies since LOTR so maybe if you’re only watching Marvel movies you’re not really going to be a great movie critic?)

Remember when I did this one, what feels like forever ago? (It was actually last August.)  Jonah doing the whole “IT STINKS!” thing, as per MSTie tradition.

I happened to catch him after a stand-up set in Nashville earlier this year and I’ve never seen someone so gingerly sign something in my life. He was VERY careful with it since it’s the original.

This picture is now safely stowed away with several other MSTie memories and will someday be framed. :D
