TBT to the time I sailed to the South Pole in 1907 with Ernest Shackleton, apparently.
I was all warmed up from my walk from work so when we got home I headed out for a 5km run. It was cold today with some heavy showers this morning which cleared by lunchtime. The walk home was chilly but only until I got going. I thought I was over dressed with my buff on for my run but no, as I ran towards the beach I was very glad to have that buff over my ears. I had nothing in the tank tonight so I just focused on not stopping and I did pretty well considering the large number of very big puddles I had to dodge. I had to take my sunnies off for the homeward leg through the forest. It was too dark in there to see with them on. So all in all a slow run but it was lovely being out there in the fresh air and the last rays of sunshine of the day.
this was me yesterday after my painting class…… i look like i will give u the harshest critique of ur life but i’ll compliment ur shoes afterwards so it sort of makes up for it
The weather forecast said “sunny and clear” not “beware the blizzard”, but whatever I guess
i love oregon
This weekend I went on two short bike rides, one paddleboard paddle, and one impromptu swim due to the aforementioned paddle board paddle fucking snapping and sinking to the bottom of the lake.
