Dear friends and family,

Why in the hell I should be a fun person to be around? (rant ahead)

It’s not that we only have diferent definitions of fun, and/or I don’t want to have fun with you on this particular time. It goes further. I don’t have to entertain you or anyone, on anytime. Life is not a fucking comedy show. Are you bored? Well, find something to do by yourself! Nobody has to please you, and just a few will do it without a reason. It’s not like I need one, because I actually kind of enjoy being with you (or I would be miles away right now, don’t worry). However, there are things to take in mind: Seriousness doesn’t need to be fixed, you can still be affable without being overwhelmingly cheery, and most of the agreeableness out there isn’t free. In my opinion, being fun it’s not a reliable value to measure relationships quality but, if your other friends/cousins/nephews/kids are funny, great! Keep them close, thank them for their patience, and, please, move on, since you already have someone to supply your fun needs.
