The great thing about being good at art is it’s a great way to trick people into forgiving your other faults. The exact exchange rate can be a bit fuzzy, but if you pay attention you can usually get a good sense of the major trends. For example, I’m pretty good at this felting thing, but if I’m going to keep being 15-30 minutes late every time, I need to improve my skills significantly and quickly to outweigh that over time. I’m not THAT good so it’s going to be a pretty steep learning curve, and tbh I’m not sure I can do it. But depending on my data I bet I could draw a pretty accurate graph and identify the sweet spot. I’m sure that’ll be enormously helpful.
