Actor!AU Headcanons pt. 2

Before I begin, though, I want to direct everyone’s attention to the absolutely adorable art that @coffeepainkillers drew based on the original actor!au headcanons list. I’m still shook that she liked it enough to art for it. Thanks so much hun!!

Without any further ado, here we go!

Courtesy of @stephicness, Luna totally goes “Fuck!” (really loudly) whenever she messes up a line.

While on the press tour, Noctis says that filming the movie felt like being in a video game and there’s a sudden explosion of small indie games based off of the movie.

Ignis jokingly started writing fanfiction for the movie, but then he got stuck in the fandom and he constantly (anonymously) interacts with the fans. The fandom loves his works and constantly asks for more, even though all he writes are one-shots.

At one point, one of Iggy’s fics is brought to the dramatic reading table and Ignis is the one who reads it. Everyone else is confused as to why he can’t stop laughing.

There’s a video of Gladio working out drifting about the internet. Noctis is off to the side doing push ups, Ignis is doing some stretches, both Iris and Luna have megaphones and are yelling random stuff at the boys. Prompto is filming. (aka, Prompto “look at those thunder thighs” Argentum)

Ardyn always gets really giddy whenever he gets to sing, because he knows it means something ominous and he adores building suspense.

In fact, Ardyn just loves how extra he gets to be. He could do without the over-the-top hobo clothes (it’s a ton of layers and gets very hot) but all the shifts in voice, all the sneaky little looks, the way he walks, he thinks it’s really fun.

Ignis wanted his going blind to look more genuine so he walked around set with a blindfold on for a while. He will deny it but he ran into literally everything in his path.

Ravus is like Sebastian Stan when it comes to the metal arm. There’s a lot of lube involved.

After the premiere, the whole cast got together and made a joke musical based off the film. No camera crew around, so it’s all recorded in bursts on Snapchat. They each posted different parts on their own stories, so to get the whole thing you have to watch one from everyone. (It doesn’t even follow the plot tho)

Like I’ve said before, Ignis is the prankster on set. He’s got the funniest stories to tell about everyone, himself included.

Off set, Gladio is actually the mom friend. Since he can usually handle the most alcohol, whenever the cast parties get a little too fun, he’s usually the one that makes sure everyone gets some water in them and gets back home safely. (And he drives this huge-ass truck. He’s usually the designated driver.)

Noctis does his best to communicate with his fans and he knows quite a few words in quite a few languages because of that. (He’s also become an expert at understanding broken English)

Whenever Prompto has to cry for a scene, he’s actually very genuinely worked up and upset. He can stop it on command, but he’ll need some time away from the camera to fully collect himself before the next scene begins.

Iris and Cindy always bring in baked goods for everyone on set at random intervals. It’s always a nice surprise.

After Noctis discovered the festive attire hidden in a closet somewhere, he refused to take it off for a few hours. Eventually, when they got it off of him, Gladio realized the hat’s rim was stiff enough so it could be used as a frisbee. Thus, the games began. There are many snapchat stories that feature a handful of the cast members (different members almost every time) playing a game with the sombrero during their breaks.

Luna and Ignis spend a lot of time together -- they talk about the movie and they trade a few dessert recipes.

Noctis had a hard time with the whole warping thing at first. In the beginning, it was just throwing the sword properly (one time he missed his mark and almost hit one of the crew members; he apologized for days), and then it was sprinting at full speed to wherever the sword ended up.

Gladio and Ignis taped a piece of paper on the door of Noctis’ trailer. It was placed over the nameplate, and all it read was “NAHCKT”. Noctis found it hilarious and left it there for the rest of production.

Ardyn hates that hat. He wishes it wasn’t symbolic to his role, because he hates that hat. He’d never say anything about it, though when he was offered his costume as memoriam, the hat was “accidentally” misplaced.

After the release of the film, there’s a notable increase in donations to certain charities -- namely, those that focus on making prosthetic limbs and those that train service dogs and/or make walking sticks and canes. (Ravus and Ignis are the cause, if you were wondering)
