So, this afternoon has been fun. I

Left work 40 minutes late, partially because the store was a mess and partially because I couldn't be stuffed asking my boss to let me out

Got home, only to find out that my brother hadn't bought dog food while I was at work

Found out that the store was still open, and would be for another ten minutes or so

Changed out of my hideous green work shirt

Walked, in the pouring rain, to the pet store

Reached the pet store five minutes before they closed

Got in and out with three minutes to spare, successfully purchasing dog food

And walked home in the even more pouring rain

The good news is that my work pants/trousers will dry by morning, because they're designed for that. The bad news is that my shoes might not, because they're designed for dry weather hiking.
