Genuinely need some of you to read the original definition of fridging and stop putting men's suffering above the sexism that women face.

it's always been about sexism.

Women get fridged. Men defrost (actual term btw)

Barbara Gordon was shot and assaulted for the plot to continue about Jim, Bruce, and Joker and was essentially a consequence. collateral even. Writers had to fight editorial to bring her back

Jason was democratically killed off through a vote because many didn't like that he was dick grayson, because robin existed in the first place, or they just wanted to see if DC would do it. he got a story that did feature him making his own choices and tragically getting killed. he changed the role of robin and haunted the narrative for people who didn't even know he existed until they met bruce. he came back because readers begged after a perceived plot twist.

Supergirl and Flash both died in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Barry passed down his mantle through death and was a hero. It was a honor for him to die and Wally to remember that. Again, Supergirl was a fight to return. She went for months with no flashbacks, name drops, memorial, or anything other than erasure. She didn't exist until her legacy was fought for and eventually restored.

You don't need to incorrectly use terms to justify the tragedy you see that has reasons to be tragic.
