honestly, this is actually just so sad. he's finally feeling what it’s like to actually have a happy family. something he was never able to have.

part of kasady's slaughter sprees is just from him being an inherently sociopathic bastard, but there's also a part of him that's doing it as a way of lashing out from all the shit that he’s gotten his entire life.

no matter what kind of person he was, he deserved to have a loving family. he deserved to be treated kindly. he deserved a chance at a happy stable life. but he never got it. and that hurts him.

and makes him jealous. he’s lashing out in pain and anger at this girl, because he thinks it’s unfair that she was able to be happy, but he wasn’t. this is his way of trying to amend that unfairness, by ripping away that happiness from her to “make the world right again”.

it’s so fucked. but it’s also so unbelievably sad.
