literally, if Murderbot were a trans man who used he/him pronouns, or a trans woman who used she/her pronouns, people would respect its pronouns. People are literally fucking desperate to assign a binary gender to Murderbot, because the idea of it being agender is so abhorrent to them. They hate nonbinary people so much they think they’re doing Murderbot a favor by misgendering it. (and let’s not ignore the misogyny of people who decide Murderbot is a man because it’s the protagonist -.-)
