I discussed with someone online because Andrej said his world was very diverse and the person thought she knew better than the autor and in Slavic middle ages there were no black people, apparently ok with dragons and trolls, but no black people. Im so f tired of those people...
uuugghhh that's so frustrating!!!! I hate when people use that skewed "logic" as an excuse. yes, the witcher is heavily inspired by polish culture and folklore, but the witcher does not take place in poland!!! it's a fantasy world that also is inspired by many other sources and has things like dragons and ghouls and leshens, but god forbid there be people who aren't white!! I have my own criticisms of sapko, but nowhere does he say that everyone is white. "it goes against the lore!!!!" is a thinly veiled way of saying they don't want poc in their media.
