It’s so infuriating that louis’ single just came out yet his team only cares about promoting some furry ass dogs. And Eleanor the professional dog walker who has nothing else to do. WE HAVENT SEEN LOUIS DO A SINGLE LATE NIGHT TELEVISION SHOW OR ANYTHING BESIDES CRAPFACTOR. But who cares right, who is louis afterall? Anon, you are absolutely right and the fact that I don’t complain 24/24 every day of the week is only due to me being exhausted and too angry and frustrated, never about me being fine with any of this or me having forgotten about any of this. It’s still constantly upsetting and infuriating, not to say completely nonsensical. So, yes, yes, I know, it’s just out of this world. Especially when you see some acts from the same label/pr team/management getting all of the good promo they need (or anyway the best those people can do). What’s new? It’s creepily blatant at this point, you have to be purposefully ignoring this absurdity not to take note of it. 

That said, CRAPFACTOR is the best thing I’ve heard all week!!!

my experience of listening to Blur as a primarily Gorillaz fan is that for some unknown reason there’s only a few songs where Damon sounds like 2D. most of the time my brain doesn’t even seem to make the connection. but Best Days, that one definitely sounds like 2D. ???

I mean, I already noticed that Damon sounds weirdly different on different songs, so... I also think it’s because Blur have a distinctive sound. It’s the stripped back songs which remind me of Gorillaz because they’re not distinctively Blur-sounding apart from Damon’s voice.

Also, on the subject of Gorillaz and Blur, I find it fucking hilarious that Damon Albarn and Blur exist in the Gorillaz universe. I like to think that sometimes there’s a Blur song on the radio and Murdoc will say out of nowhere “Y’know, 2D, that Damon bloke actually sounds just like you” but 2D doesn’t know what he means... in fact I have a mental image of 2D actually listening to Blur occasionally and he sings along and doesn’t even fucking notice it’s the same voice I’m just
