it is so annoying how if i say my full name how it's supposed to be said (with an indian accent) in the middle of a sentence, it sounds really out of place and jarring but if i say it without an accent, i sound really whitewashed and overly formal

I was going to actually be productive for awhile, but then YouTube recommended a ranking of the soundtracks to the main Star Wars films, so naturally I had to watch it and then sit around thinking about it while I drink tea.

#it's very difficult #my inclination is to put esb's first and they put rotj ahead of it #in fairness rotj has some absolutely amazing scoring #but idk esb's is just so good #esb-rotj-rots are all in a similar range for me #anghraine babbles #star wars #my little piano: music is magic #john williams #it really is hard to surpass 'luke and leia' and the ds2 choir and the wonderful use of luke's theme in the sail barge sequence #but esb gives us the imperial march and the han/leia theme and even yoda's theme #and #anh wasn't even in the running for top spot for me ... yet the single greatest musical moment is probably in it #meanwhile the prequel music for me is anakin's theme + duel of the fates + across the stars + the entirety of rots #i'm terrible at this
