I had to really think about this because my interests are so niche on tumblr. How authentic should Mr Bubbles be to their truth? I read so much, most of my favorite characters are people y'all have probably never heard of. I went medium authentic, just so Daniel wouldn't win in a landslide as the only recognizable character.

I’m not very good at explaining things, but once I’ve tried to teach a friend to some basic Hungarian, and we were quite OK with the verb “to know” (tudni) because it has “normal” conjugation:

én tudom (I know) te tudod (you know) ő tudja (he/she knows) mi tudjuk (we know) ti tudjátok (you know) ők tudják (they know)

But then he asked for the verb “to eat” (enni) and when I told him it conjugates like this:

én eszem (I eat) te eszel (you eat) ő eszik (he/she eats) mi eszünk (we eat) ti esztek (you eat) ők esznek (they eat)

Oh, and these are both conjugations for verbs without objects. In case we add an object to it, it all changes...

én tudok enni (I know how to eat) te tudsz enni (you know how to eat) ő tud enni (he/she knows how to eat) mi tudunk enni (we know how to eat) ti tudtok enni (you know how to eat) ők tudnak enni (they know how to eat) ... et cetera.

So yeah. I gave up on trying. However it doesn’t seem entirely hopeless, I have a Brazilian and an Italian colleague too who have mastered Hungarian so much they have no problem taking part in casual conversations (and believe me we speak fast using lots of slang and we tend to modify verbs to fit the mood of the action, etc... so all my respect to anyone who learns Hungarian).
