Summary: Sirius has NO idea what's going on. He's in the Ministry in the middle of the night with a bunch of teenagers that he's never met before, then Bellatrix attacks all of them, and it turns out that he missed twenty or so years when he died? Peter is evil, Regulus is good, and James apparently went and hooked up with Lily Evans. James acts like he can't stand him, and did Sirius mention that he has no idea what's going on? No one is very forthcoming with everything he missed.
After Sirius died, James went a bit self-destructive, but he had to get back on the rails in a hurry. He had Harry to raise and protect, and he buried himself so deep back in the closet that he doesn't know how to handle Sirius being back, alive, and looking just like he did the last time that he saw him.
