ItaCan Headcanons

They like visiting each other's houses because in spite of their countries sharing some features, they also have their key differences.

Normally Feliciano isn't much for winter sports, much preferring the summer, but Matthew can occasionally pull him into skiing trips.

They also like visiting skiing towns in the summer, where the mountains are green and the days are warm, but not too hot.

It doesn't matter what time of the year it is, they love ice cream.

Except Feli kinda accidentally ruined Matthew's standards and now he shamelessly prefers gelato.

And man do they like their coffee.

Caffeine has no effect on Feliciano, but he thinks it's hilarious when Matthew has a little too much and becomes chatty.

Sure they can be a little nervous from time to time, but their strengths balance each other out.

For example, Matthew won't have the nerve to speak up if someone gives him the wrong order or calls him the wrong name, so in these situations it's Feli to the rescue.

Conversely Feliciano doesn't always do so well in new situations where he's not sure what to do or say, so Matthew's there to help him go with the flow.

They're both a little prone overthinking, but since they relate to each other so well they can pull the other out of it.

One of the quickest ways to tell how excited Feli is is to see how quickly he's tapping Matthew (or anyone else, really) on the arm.

Seriously, the poor guy can't catch a break.

He doesn't mind it though, and he's content enough to give Feliciano's hand a squeeze whenever he's excited.

Sometimes they don't need or want to do anything extraordinary at all, perfectly content just to enjoy each other's company.

They are big fans of watching uplifting movies and cuddling on the couch.

At least one always ends up falling asleep like that.

They are also big fans of naps in general.

And of quiet moments where they hold hands and whisper little affirmations to one another.

In general, Matthew isn't a big artist, but there are times he likes to doodle on Feli's arm.

Feliciano thinks it's adorable, and he wants to give him proper lessons once he's up to it.

Though they've had so many birthdays it's hard to celebrate in a new way, they always try to do something special for the other.

As they both like to eat, Matthew enjoys finding a new restaurant to take him to every year, and Feliciano always, without fail, makes him pizza by hand.
