DANGEROUS INTRUDER:

Alarm bells are sounding and the ship's AI has put the Terminus on lockdown. An armed and dangerous Cheimon resident, whose loyalty and affiliations are currently unknown, snuck aboard the ship. The AI is programmed to keep the ship on lockdown for as long as the intruder is at large.

This is a short-term, rapid-fire dash event/plot! Please put all other threads on hold (talk to your partners if you'd like to simply drop them and headcanon the ending). This will have information and events directly related to the rest of the episode. Every character should participate and try to interact as much as possible. The plot will span from 9/11/2019 at 5 p.m. EST to 9/19/2019 at 5 p.m. EST.

HEAD WRITER(S): MODS

GOAL: 

The team has been given intel that an arms sale will take place in the near future on a planet on the outer edge of the Mithras system. Their mission is to take in the weapons dealer and confiscate all the weapons. 

EVENT:

Currently, the event is the day/night/time period of the actual arms sale and the "trial run" day for the bioweapon. The rest of the details are subject to change depending on what our roles decide to do!

THE IN-BETWEEN:

For now, the Company has no further information to give the team, but if new intel is acquired, a Company member will be in touch. The crew will have to use their variety of skills to figure out the specifics of the sale and take in their target. 

Cold and winter-like all year round, the planet Cheimon, is best known for its top-notch Company research facility. Cures to various illnesses and life-saving virus research has come from the scientists and doctors there.

Unknown to most (including our crew), there is a top-secret bioweapon project being conducted by elite Company scientists on Cheimon. The trial run for this bioweapon is fast approaching, and the rebels on the planet who know about it, are trying to stop it without creating mass panic.

This attempt to stop the trial run is why the rebels have set up the arms sale. They need the weapons to forcefully prevent the trial run.

The event is now over. Our intruder turned out to be a scientist from Cheimon’s research facility, and they came with a warning to the group. Something big is coming, and they know all about it. The scientist has informed the group that the Company is up to something big and the rebels are the only ones who are willing to put a stop to it. Thanks to the scientist, our crew now has a rebel contact and security codes to break into the research facility.

Our mini-event will be ending in a few hours! Make sure you wrap up your posts or headcanon the end to your threads so you don’t leave your partners hanging.

The Plot Drop has now begun! The ship is on lockdown, all characters should be aboard the Terminus as the alarms begin to sound. You may now begin posting threads about the Lockdown, and begin pursuing the Intruder!

Please put all other threads on hold until this situation is resolved!

As previously announced, the crew has landed on Cheimon. Their papers state that the ship is carrying a visiting scientist who plans to assist in a project at the research facility. There are rebels inside the facility, and while our characters do not know this yet, the rebels have arranged the arms sale to help stop a bioweapon test date that is fast approaching.

Anyone who is not posing as the scientist(s) or their help should try to blend in. Our first group-wide plot/mini-event has been planned in the chat and will be announced this week!
