INTO THE BLACK

Many years ago, humanity was forced to relocate. With the help of the Company, humans colonized a new galaxy filled with unexplored planets. Years later, the Company was taken over by a group of violent anarchists. Rebels across the galaxy fought against the changes….only to be met with deadly force. To do their dirty work, the Company employed teams of bounty hunters. Every time a team touches down, they are faced with incredible danger. No matter what obstacles a planet throws at them, they must finish the job or die trying. The Terminus belongs to one such team of bounty hunters. For better or for worse, each mission they receive is a chance to prove themselves. Only time will tell if the hunters are on the right side of history….or if being on the right side of anything matters anymore. Closing Announcement

After a great deal of thought, we have decided to close Into the Black. When we created this group, we had huge expectations about how it would work and how to bring it to life. Unfortunately, those plans have not panned out, and we’ve decided that Into the Black is just not a group that currently works on this platform. We appreciate everyone who took the time to apply and participated in the group. We wish you all the best!

The event is now over. Our intruder turned out to be a scientist from Cheimon’s research facility, and they came with a warning to the group. Something big is coming, and they know all about it. The scientist has informed the group that the Company is up to something big and the rebels are the only ones who are willing to put a stop to it. Thanks to the scientist, our crew now has a rebel contact and security codes to break into the research facility.

Did you hear? The ship is on lockdown! We’re in the midst of a plot drop, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good time to get your apps in! We’ll be around all day, so if you’re lurking, get your apps in today!

The Plot Drop has now begun! The ship is on lockdown, all characters should be aboard the Terminus as the alarms begin to sound. You may now begin posting threads about the Lockdown, and begin pursuing the Intruder!

DANGEROUS INTRUDER:

Alarm bells are sounding and the ship's AI has put the Terminus on lockdown. An armed and dangerous Cheimon resident, whose loyalty and affiliations are currently unknown, snuck aboard the ship. The AI is programmed to keep the ship on lockdown for as long as the intruder is at large.

This is a short-term, rapid-fire dash event/plot! Please put all other threads on hold (talk to your partners if you'd like to simply drop them and headcanon the ending). This will have information and events directly related to the rest of the episode. Every character should participate and try to interact as much as possible. The plot will span from 9/11/2019 at 5 p.m. EST to 9/19/2019 at 5 p.m. EST.

Every character has a weapon of choice, but even in this futuristic day and age, not everyone uses the same kind of weapon. Tell us what your character's weapon of choice is! You can simply describe it, or you can tell us all about how it came to be their favorite, how they learned to use it, or why they favor it.
