Bard knows of the Glade.
Bard has been to the Glade.
Bard is aware of the mystery and enchantment of the Glade has upon mortals.
Bard, like all other Celestials, are wary of the Glade.
Not because the Glade itself affects them, as time is an ephemeral thing that passes with the blink of an eye.
No, Celestials steer clear of the Glade because it is place where existence itself is static.
The Glade is outside time when Celestials enjoy the passing of time. If one were inclined, one could stay there for all of eternity and never notice that the world of the Veil one came from could very well be gone, as the Glade has a greater reach than the Celestials would like to admit. Thankfully, its points of entry are limited and hard to access.
Nothing grows. Nothing dies. Nothing changes. The eternal cycles of order and chaos, life and death, growth and decay, are meaningless.
Bard has witnessed mortals go into the Glade. Very few exit. Even fewer return to the Veil, or the real world, unscathed. It is why Bard watches the one called Lulu carefully, as she seems to have created a distortion in the fabric of reality. Granted, a stable distortion, but a distortion nonetheless.
The Glade changes the unwary.
Bard does not go to the Glade.
