in years 2016-2020 i've put together a personal list of favourite musicians, five slots total. it came naturally and i let it stay, was happy to identify myself through it.

i loved to leave nods (in varying severity) to these top 5 when sharing art and thoughts — there was enough for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Deftones had their fair share, 4 Позиции Бруно got an essay from me. there was two more.

i’ve let go of that list now, but i still like paying homages; here’s me commemorating the remaining bands.

felt like gathering them, having them together. different topics. Grim is there, he is a boyfriend and a carer.

in bleach-esque canons i saw Grimmjow staying because not only was he invested in Ichigo’s wellbeing, but also out of pure curiosity and desire for knowledge. to see a person who turned the universe upside down and be close enough to discern what makes them tick... so he keeps an eye out. scrolls through doctoral papers on history of self-harm and bit by bit pieces together an image... i think he’s really smart, good at connecting the dots. good at caring too, because he can and he sincerely wants to.

same reasoning goes for my verse. truth be told i don’t bother focusing on backgrounds too much now. they’re living together
