if itekei ever crushed on someone really hard he'd definitely do that... he'd just start looking for things to do to show affection and he'd land on letters fast. it would mostly be pick up lines and doodles, though! goofy stuff thats fun and sweet

masano is a troll of very few words aloud, so i think theyd naturally resort to the written word to express their affections should the event arise and they really couldnt keep it under wraps anymore. they'd be the type to agonize over the word choice of the letter all night and day, many many crumpled papers. they might settle on a short, romantic and to the point poem about their feelings done with calligraphy to make up for the lack of words, even in a letter
