#106 (VIDEO) The Lumbasumba region is being protected this year by Gishwhes. We gishers managed to purchase for permanent preservation more than 60 square miles of the Lumbasumba forest during the final weeks of registration in July! But the Lumbasumba area is more than just a forest. It’s also the hottest new dance craze. Show us how it’s done. (As all gishers know, you need to do it next to a REAL monkey, a parrot, or a camel to do it right.) 79 points
Those childhood music lessons are finally paying off! Visit a local children's hospital to perform a concert for the patients. In case you've forgotten your specialty: you play the nose flute or the armpit, and you're a MASTER. Make sure you bring extra nose flutes & give out lessons. If the hospital doesn’t let you record a video you may take a picture. If they don’t let you do this, you may do it outside the hospital but you will experience terrible Karma if you lie about doing it.

This was surprisingly more fun than I had expected. Toe-based watercolor is sort of close to splashing in puddles, but you get to pretend that the other people at the park don’t think you’re a weirdo because you’re some kind of “artist” or something now. Anyway, there’s still paint stains on my toenails because I forgot to make a pedicure appointment. - Jez

Translation: (Time Lapse Video) China’s Cui Ruzhuo is a famous Chinese artist who creates fine calligraphy and watercolor works mainly through his finger painting… it’s child’s play for GISHERS! Using your toes as your “brush”, create a watercolor and calligraphy work in a scenic area near you to mimic Cui Ruzho’s style. Submit a time-lapse video of your painting and show us the finished image.

The Farm has a list of small changes that anyone can make to help out the environment. Disguise yourself as a Loki variant of your choice while undertaking one of these small changes.
106. The Curiosity rover has been driving on Mars since 2012, collecting close-up images of the Mars surface. The rover team uses these images to train the rover how to recognize different types of terrain by itself, to improve the rover’s autonomous driving ability. Help classify some of the Mars images that the rover team will actually use to train the rover. Sign up at AI4Mars, complete the tutorial, and complete at least one image classification exercise. Send us a screenshot of your completed image classification. – Dave L.
