Item 35:  A pop-up card that's for a blind child. Written in Braille, with pop-ups that can be understood completely by touch. Let's see it in action.

35. Image.  If there’s something more adorable than a “sock monkey hat”, we don’t know what that is. It for sure can’t be a sock chicken hat or a sock slug hat… or can it? Create the new sock-animal hat the world has been waiting for.

35.  Hand a bouquet of flowers (or a single flower) to a person leaving a house of worship that is not your religion. For example, if you are a Christian, you could hand a bouquet of flowers to someone leaving a mosque. If you’re Jewish, hand flowers to someone at a Christian church, etc. With the flowers, attach a note saying something in your own words, but to the effect of: “I may not worship in the same building as you, and I may not pray to the same prophets, but I am grateful to be sharing this planet with you in peace.”

Cinderella had to dance in glass shoes at a ball, and she also had to walk on eggshells around her step-family. We’re not about that life: dressed as the Princess, cavalierly stomp around on eggshells, empowered and barefoot.

Our friend Kati, the teddy bear collector, was so happy to finally get to participate properly in Gish! Also loved the colorfully dressed older ladies who came to see our teddies, take photos and call our fountain beautiful ♥️ - Tiia

This is the second August hunt in a row that Satu has dressed up as a bear... guess we’ll just have to wait and see if next year makes it three! - Kaela

Translation: On the island of Lake Teshuilo in Xochimilco, is the Island of the Dolls. This legendary island is decorated with hundreds of old and decaying dolls hanging from trees and placed everywhere.

Create your own mystical location: “a teddy bear fountain” in a public, empty, waterless fountain.
