grand opening weekend movie night!!!

hey everyone! we’re so excited to have had such a positive response to our grand opening this weekend. we’re going to have a movie night on rabbi.t tonight around 8pm est / gmt-5 and we’re looking to see if anyone’s interested! we’ll be watching some silly kids movies!!

come to grips is a real life roleplay set in the fictional town of middleboro, new jersey. in such a small town, everyone has got something to hide from someone.

AMAZING GRACE

st. benedict's church has stood in middleboro since the 1600's, making it one of the oldest colonial buildings in the town. the church folk of st. benedict's have always been active in supporting charity organizations. their award-winning church choir has been one of the best ways for the church to raise money for charity. this past season was the first time in a long time that the choir did not beat the previous years' donations, and it's got everyone pointing fingers at one another.

MIDDLEBORO FIRE DEPARTMENT

as a strong pillar of the community, the firefighters at the middleboro fire department are constantly being looked at – both positively and negatively. with so many opportunities for gossip, they all have to work extra had to keep their reputations clear. last year, the department suffered the loss of one of their newer firefighters and the company is still reeling.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

with their loose lips and penchant for drama, this flock of mothers (plus dad, the newest addition to the group) are renown for being the go-to source for any kind of gossip or inside information. while the accuracy and trustworthiness of the words that come out their mouths is oftentimes dubious at best, the amount of personal strength each of these individuals possesses is unquestionable and the fact remains that no matter what life throws at them, they will weather it as a team.

FOUNDING BLOODLINES

loosely inspired by the five bad band trope, the middle family are related to the founding members of middleboro, and aren't exactly using their social status for the lawful good. they're fantastic at keeping their hands in all the aspects of the town so that they can retain their powerful position, and they all have their strengths, weaknesses, and extended families themselves. if there's one surname that's mighty popular in middleboro, it's middle.

LAUREEN’S DINER

laureen's is the town's staple diner. it's the best place for a late brunch or early hangover breakfast cure. new management has brought a long-needed facelift to the business, but not everyone is so sure it was the right thing to do just yet.
