Spooky Scary Everything

Halloween is coming up... which begs the question, how do wizard haunted houses work? Like ok I know ghost are real now, considering one scared me half to death in the restroom less than a week after starting this job.

Just- where I come from a good walk through haunted house has a bunch of animatronics working on air compressors and electricity. How exactly does that translate when you can literally enchant almost anything to do almost anything?

I’m half tempted to ask to set up a good scare house for the Halloween Feast this year. I’m from a world of terrors imagined outside of magic. I could fill that thing with slashers and monsters the likes students have never seen...

No wands allowed inside. I’m not about to let any scared kids petrify my actors.

A Very Very Very Very Very Good Update

We are apparently only 5 posts away from our 400th post. This is amazing, especially considering we try to pride ourselves on not forcing posts if we feel that we don’t have something interesting to say.

So almost 400 posts of quality content. Not filler. Nope, absolutely no filler posts at all. Not once have we filled space just to do it, or padded our updates to appear more lengthy or interesting. Not us. No siree. We would never do that. Go us for being so awesome.

The Stream Team

Mission Prep: My task, should I choose to accept it (which I have to), is to oversee a massive renovation allowing future Hogwarts Quidditch matches to be live streamed all over the globe in real time. This is probably the largest overhaul I've had to tackle since our initial setup 2 years ago. 

Step One: Sit in despair wondering how the hell it will work. Step Two: Make it work.

I've already checked off step one, so really I'm halfway done!

Alright I’m a bit cynical on occasion, but yes magic beat us to the punch on a handful of good ideas. Paintings here were moving way back when Muggles were still sharing their memes by printing them onto paper.

A bit of explanation for future readers. Paper was a solid state information transference method. Primitive by today's standards as it lacked GIF compatibility.
