They have a few really expensive artsy shops here, but they also have nice little shops where you can buy $1 postcards and simple jewelry in the $15-$25 range. I got this fantastic clay set from Ithacamade for a total of $32–I honestly was expecting the price to be slightly higher. Also they had some really neat ceramics, but I was on foot and didn’t want to be carrying anything fragile.
But also, if anyone out there has money? American Crafts by Robbie Dein had some really badass crafts, like wooden puzzle animals, artisan glass, and intricate jewelry like you could wear to your wedding.
