ULTRASOUND @ 20 WEEKS | Dec. 7 • We woke up around 6:30am today walking into the unknown. • It was at Retty’s 20th week of pregnancy with Darylynn when we found out that Darylynn had a heart condition. So as we walked into the ultrasound room, our hearts began to pound. • In every season, YOU are still God. YOU are still good. And yes, Retty and I thank God for Darylynn and every step we had to/will take on this journey with her. God is good. • Today, God is still good. After Retty’s belly was scanned, the cardiologist told us that just about everything looks “normal.” Woot!! • (There is one thing that is somewhat an unknown in regards to our baby’s heart, but nothing to worry about.) I laughed to myself when hearing about the “unknown.” It just keeps Retty and I in constant prayer and TRUST in God. • A huge thanks to the staff at @bcchf who always makes our visits such a joy and so exciting! We can’t thank you enough!! • If you happen to remember Retty, Darylynn, our lil booger-in-the-belly, and me... please say a little prayer for us.
