Yo Ho, Yo Ho It's A Runaway's Life For Us || Lian, Jeffy, and Reggie

One month.

It had been one month since the incident at the market, and in that time, Lian had managed to get them out of a few scrapes and close calls. Now it was time for them to find a new place to live, a new hideout, and he knew that the others would more than likely protest, but it was for their best interest. They all knew that they couldn’t settle down in one place for too long. It was too risky for them, and besides, adults tended to ask too many about what three kids were doing all on their own with no parental supervision.

Why couldn’t they just mind their own business and leave them alone?

With a heavy sigh, something that should never come from a twelve year old’s lips, Lian lifted his gaze towards the other two who made up this dysfunctional family of theirs and squared his shoulders back.

“We’ve gotta find a new place t’ live, guys,” he said solemnly.
