how can I write a very good emotional scene? :D any tips or you know to improve it so it won't seem like a cold monotone hug
First, what kind of emotion? Things that make for a great sad emotional scene, aren’t good for a scene when rage is boiling over, or when there’s something heartfelt going on. Lines can blur, but make sure you have a clear idea of where you’re going.
Second, focus on showing not telling. Don’t tell me someone is happy, show me, through their body language. They may smile, have their eyes more open, laugh, do cartwheels--whatever is best for your characters. SHOW ME.
Third, think about how this emotion is impacting their dialogue. If people are having an argument, there’s going to be lots of cutting each other off and interrupting. Drop the tags, in that situation, too and it’ll help you with the pacing. If people are excited, either in a good way or they’re panicked, they may ramble.
Fourth, think about the environment. Think back to when you’ve received good or bad news, or had an emotional moment--did you focus in on something--an object or maybe a smell or sound, or did the world fade away?
hope this helps,

HI, so about your theme #19 i can't seem to like post a gif on the header? Like, sure it moves while i'm editing but when i save it freezes, thank you in advance!
Hi, this sounds more like a Tumblr problem than a theme problem. If it’s showing up find (minus not actually playing as a gif), then it’s probably something on Tumblr’s end. The best guess I can give is that you might be uploading something with a size that’s over the the limit?
If you for sure know that it’s within Tumblr’s size constraints and it’s still not working, link me to it and I’ll try to see what’s up.
