Ridiculously Good Marinara Sauce

1 big can whole peeled tomatoes 1 big can of diced tomatoes 1 big can of tomato puree 1 can tomato paste olive oil 2-3 medium onions 4-5 peeled garlic cloves 2-3 bay leaves dried oregano to taste 1/4 cup red wine

1. Peel and chop onions and garlic. Pour olive oil into the pot and heat it. When it’s hot, add the chopped onions and garlic and start cooking them. when getting soft, add oregano and bay leaves and mix.

2. Then add can of whole tomatoes, diced, tomatoes, tomato puree, and tomato paste, and stir it all up. pour in some red wine.

3. Reduce heat and bring to low boil, uncovered, but with one of those splatter screen covers, stirring periodically.

4. It shold take about 30-45 minutes to cook down and thicken. let sit afterwards.

5. Chili/red pepper flakes can be added as well as black pepper, to taste.

6. If you want to add sausage or meatballs, cook thrm seperately and add them before adding the tomatoes.
