So I just watched Tokyo Ghoul. I was fascinated by it and I'm planning to watch Tokyo Ghoul Root A tomorrow. The show didn't go as I expected though. I have been waiting for Kaneki to use his newly-gained ability to save mankind from the bad ghouls. However, it didn't happen. The only time that he fully utilized his ability/power was on the last episode. I can't believe it took him a whole season (or in this case, 12 episodes) to become aware that there are times that he should go away from the belief though to him by her mother, "It's better to be hurt than to hurt others." While I understand that that is true, it is just frustrating that he can't even use his powers to the fullest, maybe except for when he saved Hide, I think. I have been cussing since the first few episodes lol
