♦ - Emotional headcanon
Ry tries not to be too emotional, and he is successful for the most part. As a Detective Inspector, he has learned to keep his emotions under control. However…here are a few things that will trigger emotional responses.
Hit on him, flirt with him will get him flustered and he will blush and being to ramble.
hurt his family/friends - he will hurt someone
Monty Python and Benny Hill - he will laugh
Giving him pocky - he will smile and hug you to death
● - Sad headcanon
There was one case that he worked on and it was only a matter of time before they caught the killer. But it was too late and the last victim was a child that lived in his neighborhood and he would watch the boy every now and then. He still feels guilt about it.
♠ - Painful headcanon
A painful part of Ry’s past happened when he was 19 and at Uni. What had happened made him wary of women, who are not family, and a little more standoffish at times. And he was leery of men for the longest time as well. Will not post what happened to him here because it can be triggering. If anyone is really interested, please send an ask.
♥ - Love headcanon
There have been a few times where Ry had fallen in love. Four in total. Three of them in his human life, and one a very long time ago before he was cast out.
The girl at Uni. She was lovely and had shown interest in him. And then she hurt him.
He was 15 and the boy he liked was 16 and they were both on the rugby team. The boy’s parents found out and they moved away. Ry has no idea what happened to the boy.
This is one Ry doesn’t talk about much. But it happened before he became a DI
This one happened thousands of years ago, long before the Roman Empire. He had to choose between the life of an innocent child and his best friend, someone he loved more than he should have.

Because of what happened to him at Uni, Ry has become more dominant when it comes to the bedroom. But with the right person and complete trust, he will be submissive.

Ry loves his family, human and otherwise. Despite not getting on well with his cousin Patty, he would still protect her.

Ry considers his closest friends as family an will be treated as such. Hurt them and he will hurt you 3 times worse.

He loves spicy curry, the spicier the better. But he also loves pistachio ice cream, raspberry danishes and chocolate pocky. Do not EVER get between him and his pocky if you want to live. XD
