mikayla had been wandering around for the past few hours, she had spent some time with the girls for the earliest hours of her night, celebrating the fact they had such a wicked time in london, especially cause they were the shows she had looked forward to the most. by now it was after twelve am and she had gotten another cider ( her favorite ), from the bar and made her way towards the out the back, she loved watching the stars, she had always done it even when she was little, flashbacks to when her dad and herself would go outside, look around and see if any stood out to them, it was one of her favorite things to do and she wasn't going to give that up now. she noticed a tall figure when she reached the door, not quite sure who it was until she noticed the blonde hair and the ( usual ) black skinny jeans, a smile instantly fell to her lips before she walked up to him and plopped herself beside him. she then took a sip of her drink and then poked him with her free hand. "hey, rock-star." she grinned, before hugging his arm. "what brings you out here all alone??" she asked, completely surprised that he wasn't inside partying with his boys and what not.
Hey guys!! After a great first week we've decided that it's time to have our very first event this weekend!! To celebrate the start of the Europe leg of our tour we are having an opening party. The event will start today ( Friday, Septemtber 2nd ) at 4pm GMT and will run the entire weekend. So, let's get this party started!!
CHAT STEP RECAP
Our favorite Rebellious Records acts got together to cut loose and have a little party this weekend, and yours truly was there to witness it all, getting you the biggest scoop and exclusive info.
When I got there the party was already in full swing. All eyes were on Jihoon Kang, a crew member with pyrotechnics, after he set off a firecracker in the middle of the hotel, but soon enough he was off drunkenly dancing with Dipstick’s Lead Guitarist, Jace Kang. Indigo’s own Lead Guitarist, Amelia Kane, seemed to be the hook-up--- be it booze or nachos, if you wanted it, she had it. As soon as the Resistance’s Daeil Hwang moved away from his lead singer, Riah Sampson-Lee, Dipstick’s Matthew Park nearly threw himself at the spot, not really moving for the rest of the night. Dipstick’s manager, Emma Maxwell, did her best to keep them all in line until she had to leave. Tension between Daeil and Matty rose, with Kang Dal Rae predicting a fight between the two, but nothing came of it. Some bickering happened between Jace and Indigo member, Nova Oh, but nothing seemed to come of that either.
Once the A-List’s Levi Schneider arrived, they got a game of truth-or-dare going, with the first dare going to Jace Kang. He completed the dare (to remove the turtleneck he was wearing), revealing numerous hickies on his neck--- and thus, the mystery of why he was wearing a turtleneck in the summer was solved. For his truth, Levi Schneider revealed that his biggest mistake was almost flushing a hamster down the toilet. He directed a dare at Riah Sampson-Lee, and surprisingly enough she carried it out, calling the tour manager on Matthew Park’s phone and claiming to quit the tour. The next two dares required ice--- Nova having to put some in her bra, and Jace, his boxers.
That’s where it got interesting. When Jace’s question about why Matty was snuggled up next to Riah and what was going on between them struck a wrong chord, Matty pulled himself from the game. The next dare went to Riah, and in spite of Matty’s refusal to answer the previous question, Jace dared her to kiss him. Daeil and Dal Rae continued to sit back and watch, neither of them seeming to have any interest in participating.
The game ended shortly after that--- the alcohol seemed to have hit Nova all at once, and Matty was questioning the relationship between her and Jace (it seemed like he was just trying to cover up his own embarrassment about Riah to this reporter, but we might never know). Those two exchanged a kiss upon Matty’s request, and the Levi started questioning Matty’s nickname for the shy Restricted frontwoman--- “Kitten”.
Things escalated between Matty and Levi, and it seemed like a brawl was going to start (much to the amusement of Dal Rae), but Nova Oh cut in, shooting some choice words at Levi Schneider, turning his attention to her instead. Both were incredibly drunk, and were screaming insults back and forth; yours truly couldn’t help but speculate that they had a messy history, one that they maybe weren’t quite over. Jace Kang did his best to calm Nova down and fend Levi off while the rest sat back and watched.
While for a long time the arguing went on and it seemed like there might be a fight between Levi and Jace (especially once Nova started throwing things at Levi), all it turned out to be was just a drunken shouting match. Tour manager Junsung Kim stepped in in an attempt to pacify all parties, with Riah and Daeil helping Levi away from the skirmish, and Jace carrying Nova off. The party seemed to wrap itself up after that.
What happened between Nova and Levi? Is there something going on between Jace and Nova, or Matty and Riah for that matter? When are we going to get to see a real fight break out on this tour? We might never know. This party seems to have raised more questions than answers.
Got any dirt you want to spill? Heard any good rumors? Feel free to send them in to On The Scene Weekly, and help us get to the bottom of it!
“I was skeptical about this place and this tour overall, but his party is actually fun.” She says moving to the sound of her music. “What about you?”
