Not quite remembering how the next was supposed to go, Levi just tried to hum it enthusiastically ( and probably not quite right ), giving her a bright smile when he was done. “ You still remember it! “, he said, quite excited about that simple fact. “ Yesss. But that was sooooooooooo long ago. “ The boy nodded a few times to support his own statement, attempting to remain serious. Though his lips quickly turned into a smile afterwards. “ That’s so nice Miki! I really really appreciate it. “ Although the boy wasn’t even sure what exactly he was ‘appreciating’ about her using ‘If It Means A Lot To You’ as a ring tone for him in the past. Or maybe it was just the fact that the girl used to get happy when he called her. Either way, he’d stay with his statement. “ Awwwwh. I like spending time with you as well. But see?? It is not just because of the alcohol then “, the blonde giggled out.
He let out a few more giggles as she mentioned the song before going over to her with the glasses. Even though toe older one said that he was fine with his beer for now earlier, the thought of just taking one of those drinks and enjoying it for himself later was really tempting. “ I might …. but first, I need to get this blanket “, he said with a smile. gesturing to the staff member that was already heading towards them. Levi just quickly went over him to get the blanket, shooting the guy a bright smile and a ‘Thank you very much!’ before giving him a short hug to show how much he meant it and going back to his friend ( while not even paying attention to he confused but at the same time somehow amused expression from ‘the blanket guy’, of course ) with the blanket on his shoulder. Shooting her another wide smile, he looked over to the brunette. “ If you— continue doing that .. you’ll just spill it!! “, he giggled out, pressing the button for the lift when they were finally there and entering the elevator when the door opened.
of course mikayla giggled at him like always, the smile evidently remaining on her face while she heard him hum back to her, "of course i do, silly, it meant a lot to me." she giggled with a little wink, "sooo what, we can sing anyways, pwease rock star." she pouted up at him, "wait what are we appreciating again??" mikayla raising her eyebrows forgetting what she had said before, scratching her head. "isn't it why we're so close though, i mean spending time together has felt like something we have always done, i don't know if that's just me being weird but it's true, i feel like you've been here all along, somehow or another."
how could mikayla not smile when he was around, she just couldn't help herself with how good she felt, not that she was going to turn all sappy to him but he was making her feel good and it made her so so happy. "oh yes, okay do it." she grinned up at him before following after him, then giggling at him hugging the staff member. "thank you." miki called after him as he walked away, "i won't spill it, shush." she chuckled before stepping into the elevator, then sipping one of the drinks. "mmm." mikayla hummed, savouring the taste, "what even are these, these taste so good." she mumbled, then realising she forgot to click the button. "oh shit." she laughed before clicking the top floor button, then looking up at him, of course smiling. "my best friend." she whispered to herself, before biting down her lip and then focusing on the door in front of them, trying to keep her balance.
