After seeing this, it was obvious things were going to go downhill. Atri was injured badly and Zen is sneaking out so he can’t exactly go call for medical help.

ATRI IS PART OF THEM? Okay, not gonna lie. I knew Atri was up to something but I thought that look in his eyes was towards Mitsuhide interrupting their ‘play date’. I can’t really understand why these men would wound one if their own while he brought them leverage.

I’m pretty sure that if Izana comes over with his sword already drawn, shit has hit the fan. I’d be terrified.

Like I said : Terrified. He looks like he’s dancing.

I didn’t expect Atri to loosen his arrow. I also didn’t expect Mitsuhide to strike him.

This breaks me. Itra is literally breathing his dying breath. How is Zen so ‘calm’ when Atri betrayed his trust, Mitsuhide striked his best friend and his brother who pretty much ordered him to. You’d expect someone his age to be sobbing, filled with rage and anger and sorrow towards Izana or even Mitsuhide, since he’s the one who struck Itra down. This event has had to be traumatic for him. Losing his confidant, best friend, his trust in people. Yet, he’s not either of these things. It’s like he’s in shock, still processing what the hell actually happened there.

I feel like this is the moment Mitsuhide became Zen’s rock so to say. I barely see Zen without him and I don’t find that surprising, he did save him from an arrow.
