A basic human right -  The right to marry or form a civil partnership and start a family. So essentially that's the government and the church telling Gays that they aren't human. 

Sorry, but you love a man, so that means you aren't human. 

"Sorry mum but as a non-human I'm not going to school today"

"Are you going to the elections?" "no, as a lesbian, I'm not allowed to participate in these elections"
