something I have definitely projected onto Tomas is how he is pretty visibly gay (or at least quite gnc and people just assume). He’s feminine and delicate and he lives in a small town where not many other men are wearing turtlenecks embroidered with flowers. pretty much everyone knows. 

so he doesn’t ever mention it? being gay isn’t a big part of his identity- he dresses that way cause he likes it. so Luca giving him those rainbow laces would be like. a big deal. letting himself be proud for the first time :(
