Ari being who he is, it wasn’t until a minute or so later that Shizune’s words really hit him. For the most part, he’d just but looking down at her with a gentle smile and a little nod to show he had heard her, but as soon as it registered in his mind what was actually said his face was quickly a deep shade of red.

Now that he knew what was going on, Ari nearly forgot how to speak complete sentences. Some part of him was telling him to pinch himself and make sure that it wasn’t a dream, but another part of him knew that he was awake and this was really happening. Didn’t help the red face though, that was still very much there.
