i think if carol and helen had a cat, especially a cat that liked helen more than carol, carol wouldn't have been as dependent on the hive. i feel like a cat that sees grief in the only other person who loved its owner will mourn with her, this odd remmant of what was once shared. and i think if a cat that loved helen saw zosia beought into the home like that, it might try to scare her off. yknow?

thing that really interests me about nemesis is how passive she is and this is pointed out in the novel also but she is a reactive, following character, she even views herself as "so stupid" and "so cold" like she sees herself as a brute-for-hire and for much of her life thats what she is she's the Zeus gang's beastmaster, the sniper/grunt (based on how many PN targets are hers specifically you gotta wonder if she was just gatt c style cleanup crew) shes gammon's Means Of Violence She doesn’t do things so much out of ideological convictions but out of devotion or obligation its only later after gammon dips that we (dont really tbh) see her grow into a person with agency, the one at the helm making the decisions. But for most of her life she is nooot calling the shots and it sinks into how she views herself okay and SNIPNERING IS NOT HER PASSION...! GUNS != SOMETHING SHE LIKES Its actually rather associated with traumatic memories for her! which is why all the nyoze shit bubbles to the surface so fast when levia is puzzling through her extreme non-linear Gun Puzzle

“How good is your Narrator at socializing?”

Horrible. Let me explain.

He doesn’t try to get attached to people anymore. He prefers to analyze them. He wants to make sure they won’t affect his game too much if they find their way into it. Or wants to see how much of a threat level they are. So therefore, he doesn’t socialize. AND IF HE DID SOCIALIZE—

He’d end up messing up a lot. He’s guarded himself from becoming close with people due to what it made him do years ago (lore no wayyy), and if affected how he’s able to interact with others. He’s blunt, snappy, and always has a scowl on his face. I feel like he’d be known as “The Grinch” of Narrators or something. If he really does try to put effort into talking, he’ll just not be able to function and stare with a grimace and give a few occasional “yes, “no”, or grunts. Then he’ll leave as soon as possible.

He really doesn’t need to socialize with anyone anyways. It’s all just useless. It can’t help him, it’ll only hurt him. That’s all that people have ever done. Hurt him, hurt him. He doesn’t need friends, or people to talk to. He only needs his game and his books.
