Morty town was crawling with sin tonight it seemed. But it was far too late for most to even be awake, and Jasper wasn’t hungry. At least, not yet. But for now the tall marionette found himself roaming about the darkened streets of the city, hidden fairly well in the shadows where the street lamp’s light could not touch. But as he moved he heard footstep drawing near, stiffening up his back and huffing, taking in a deep breath of air through his nose. He could smell the aroma of a human nearby, but the distance he could not tell. So he waited, hunched over in the darkness, waiting to see whom was behind the wall of the alleyway.
