I can give you some details about my personality and my hobbys: I’m a very sensitive girl, trying to spread always positive vibes. I’m a vintage addict, a cetacean lovers (mostly killer whales ❤️) and my favorite color is green.
The meanings of Veronica come from two distinct origins:
The meaning of “She who brings victory” comes from the Macedonian name “Berenice” which is in turn a form of the Athenian “Φερενίκη” (Phereníkē). Which is derived from “pherō” (to bring) “nikē” (victory). Νίκη (Nike) was the Ancient Greek personification of victory.
The meaning of “true image” comes from the Latin “vera” (true) and Greek “εἰκών” or “eikon” (image, icon, or reflection). The term eikon is often used in a religious context and is highly linked to the Veil of Saint Veronica, a Christian relic that is an acheiropoieton (Icon Made Without Hands), said you depict the true image of Jesus Christ.
Additionally, Veronica is a genus of flowering plant (lower left) from the family Plantaginaceae, or the plantain family. It contains about 500 species of plant often known as speedwells and bird’s eye. Members of the species Veronica americana are nutritious and edible, however many consider plants of this genus to be a weed.
