who am i?
i'm an undergrad in university, and i've struggled with my weight for a long time. While i remain at a healthy weight medically, i don't lead a very healthy lifestyle (think bumming around and staring at a computer 24/7). this past week, i made the commitment to start living more healthily, by exercising more and eating less junk food. hopefully this blog will help me track my progress and encourage me to keep going (:
i live in a society with a huge food culture, where food=socialising, and bonding over (usually) incredibly unhealthy food is the norm. Eating isn't an individual thing, but very much a community thing. Which makes eating choices pretty difficult sometimes. But i'm going to try!
