Morgyn tried to help Alim to get rid of the curse, but he was so focused on the task to forget the dangers of overcharging.

He should have learned from his great-grandmother. And Simeon always talks about it, to the point where Alim thinks his scar has something to do with overcharging. 

But did he listen?  No.

And now it’s too late...

Since everyone EVERYONE kept punching him - stupid stupid curse -, Alim went back home to relax (and study).

UPDATE: I’m alive and well.  I edit screenshots and queue post only when I have the time and the spirit to do so, though. As... you know... one should do with hobbies. XD We’re kinda quarantined here (but I work from home so... still working), but I’m fine and everybody I know is fine. The situation is critical, but we’re not panicking and we’re trying to stay positive. I’m not going out as much as I usually do, so I’m playing a lot (silver lining?). I’m working on a save file and playing all these stories even if I don’t post them. Update’s over. How are you?

Alim survived.

So he had to tell Simeon of his stupid mistake. He thought his mentor would scold him, but he was just... very worried?

“I told you to pay attention! Don’t scare me like that, kid!”

Alim is making progress but he wants to win at least three duels and make his mentor proud. He’s also wondering how Simeon’s life is outside of the HQ, what’s the reason for his scar, how he became a sage and... 

Look, Alim is just curious, nothing more.
