#Repost per credit from & the courtesy of @faern ・・・ Considering what it means to hold space. Considering what it means to hold space for others. Considering what it means to hold space for me. I learned to hold space for myself even more while holding space for others - the details had been lost in all the “trying” and “attempting to explain” to myself and everyone else - completely feeling unheard, unaccepted and not valued. Eventually it happened- the inner knowing of acceptance of my self- and how I abused my own trusting nature instead of turning that trust to my Self. What I did when I took an assessment of my location, energy and physical investment was peer deeply into my heart and looked for my own unflickering flame and seek out the hum that never leaves- the drum which always plays. This is the heart itself- no matter which way you turn it, it is the heart of the matter. The ability to provide an understanding and ACCEPTANCE of who I am, where I am and what I do. It’s been a long road. A harsh one. A painful one. And I’d never ask for any difference in this existence. I mean SURE it would have been nice to not see my parents suffer so darned much, but that’s not why I came, regardless of the separation, I still love my family greatly. For now, I’ll hold space. Thank you all who show up- the energy exchange is exponential in value and I do my very best to hold that container. Have you noticed how I set up my own Altar next to the existing one in the studio? That is an offering I make before I even know who is coming- Have you noticed how I circle the room from left when I guide? Again, an offering- you are the fire ceremony and I contain it as I experienced in Native American fire ceremony (I just don’t throw blueberries at you 🤔🙌 if you know you know) - also I never “decided” these things into existence- nor was I taught this by anyone, it’s in my DNA 🧬 to Be Here Now and hold space in this way. Without YOU None of this would happen and I am obscenely grateful to be allowed to experience this with you. An honor. #itsanhonor #thisisceremony #yogapractice #yogaclass #faern #yogaguide #allforlove #sfyoga #sanfranciscoyoga https://www.instagram.com/p/B6itqS1nWtX/?igshid=18snkr1zm73d1
